Luke + Philippa | The Black Barn | Berkshire

I was so excited to photograph Luke & Philippa’s wedding, it was a long time in the making as they booked me last year but it was definitely worth the wait and so much more! I didn’t have long with Philippa and the girls at Luke’s parents house but got a few snaps of some preparations and the anticipation of the events to follow. I zipped off to the lovely Yattendon Church in Berkshire to meet the boys and was just in time for the bell ringing to announce the upcoming marriage. The church was full of joy and expectation as everyone waited for the beautiful bride to arrive. The marriage was so special and I had the privilege to stand right up close and personal (but not too close to be distracting!) and had the perfect opportunity to capture the expressions of Luke & Philippa and the intimacy of them making their vows to each other. It was the perfect summer’s day as they came out of the church smiling and holding hands the sun was shining and the weather was good! The celebrations then took place at The Black Barn where they had modestly but lovingly decorated it and kept the raw authenticity of this amazing big barn. It truly was a pleasure to be a part of this special day and I loved being able to capture memories that will be kept for years to come. Congratulations Luke & Philippa!
