Daniel & Anna, Abingdon

I met Daniel & Anna for the first time on their pre-wedding photo shoot in Abingdon. Quite often couples book me without even meeting because of the limited time from when they get engaged to marriage or like the one I did yesterday for a couple who moved back to UK from New Zealand and get married in 6 weeks! That's why I love doing these pre-wedding shoots, they give us quality time to spend together and take some relaxed and fun pictures in one of the many beautiful locations around Oxfordshire. What I enjoyed about this shoot was that Anna & Daniel where really chilled out and down to earth people (both archaeologists!) and we went for a walk along the river at around 8pm when the so called 'Golden Hour' happens and the light is soft, warm and romantic. Sometimes this golden hour is really good to work with and other times it's quite tricky, depending where you are. By the time we had talked, walked and were heading back to the car, we found some lovely spots in town after the sun had set and in the end they turned out to be the best shots! Sometimes things don't work out quite as you expect but even better!
